About us
WELCOME TOFLYING DUCKS HOCKEY CLUB
The Flying Ducks is an Inline Hockey Club that trains in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. We have co-ed teams in every age bracket from U12 to senior. The Club runs “Learn To Play” sessions for juniors and seniors, as well as coached inline hockey sessions for all our teams.
We are governed and compete in a league with Inline Hockey Ireland (IHI).
The Flying Ducks was established in 2015 and has gone from strength to strength since!
Learn To Play Program
Learn to Play (LTP) is open to all skill levels from age five years upwards. Every member needs their own skates and must be able to stand up and move forward unassisted, we can teach you everything else!
The focus of these sessions is skating skills and skating with a puck…. and of course, having fun!!
LeagueProgram
The Flying Ducks have junior co-ed teams that compete in U12, U14, U16 and U18 and senior co-ed teams that compete in League 2, League 1 and Elite with Inline Hockey Ireland (IHI).
The league season runs from September to June.

Senior Learn To Play
An Over 18 inline hockey Learn to Play program teaches adult beginners skating fundamentals, core hockey skills, game basics and rules in a supportive environment that builds confidence for recreational or league play.
Junior Learn To Play
An inline hockey Learn to Play program introduces beginners to skating, fundamental hockey skills, teamwork and game basics in a fun, safe and confidence-building environment that prepares them for team play.
League Team Practice
Our junior league teams compete in scheduled game days across Cork, Portadown and Bangor and players may also have the opportunity to trial for Team Ireland national inline hockey programmes.
